The venue exceeded all expectations. the riverside location was a plus. It was only a 10-minute drive from Ventura. the room was spotless and huge, offering a great view of the lake. Amenities like coffee and tea making equipment, a dining area, and a seating area were a very nice touch.

Every room at Little Swan Guest House is cozy and comfortable, with a touch of homeliness. The private entrance adds a sense of exclusivity, while the tile/marble floor lends a modern touch. The seating area is perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring the beautiful surroundings. Having a balcony in selected rooms is truly a bonus, allowing guests to enjoy the fresh air and lovely views. The presence of a kettle and desk in every room adds convenience and makes it easier to work or simply enjoy a hot cup of tea.
Personally, I would have preferred if all the rooms had balconies. However, I understand that this is a matter of personal preference and others may still find enjoyment in the rooms without balconies.

The parking was onsite. the room was spotlessly clean. - Lots of food for breakfast, which was fine to satisfy everyone. - I was offered a room with great views at the lake. - the location was favorable - so close to the temple, good places to eat, and the train station.

Select rooms with balconies: Our room at the top floor was like having our own private balcony in the sky, offering breathtaking views and a perfect spot for morning coffee or evening stargazing.
Narrow stairs: Little Swan Guest House, just a minor inconvenience.

As longer term business travelers, we loved the river view from our balcony and the modern, well-maintained rooms with en-suite bathrooms. The breakfast was amazing and prepared with love. The owner, Lakmal, went above and beyond, offering a complimentary boat trip on the river and even taking us to the local market and train station in his tuk-tuk. The family atmosphere and the helpfulness of the staff made us feel right at home.
We felt really comfortable during our stay and have no complaints.

I was absolutely blown away by my stay at this guesthouse! The location was jaw-dropping, with a balcony overlooking the river. The owner, Lakmal, was super friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay incredible. He even took me on a boat trip to see wildlife like baby caiman and giant bats! The breakfast prepared with so much love was mind-blowing. The room was pleasant and the free Wi-Fi and 24-hour reception were very convenient. I highly recommend staying here if you're in the area!

The Little Swan Guest House offered a tranquil and peaceful atmosphere that was perfect for senior people like me. The hotel had a beautifully decorated garden, providing a serene setting to relax and unwind. The general areas were clean, well-maintained, and easily accessible, making it convenient for senior guests to move around comfortably.
I would have appreciated if the breakfast options were more affordable and suitable for a senior person's budget. It would have been even better if they had taken into consideration the dietary needs and preferences of older guests.

We really enjoyed our Christmas stay at this lovely riverside hotel. The view from our room was fantastic, overlooking the river. It was a great way to start the day, enjoying breakfast on the balcony while taking in the beautiful scenery. The owners of the hotel were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They made us feel right at home and were always ready to help with anything we needed. They even gave us a free boat trip on the river, which was a nice added bonus.- The location of the hotel was perfect. It was close to local restaurants and shops, which made it convenient for exploring the area. We also appreciated that they provided a boat to take us across the river to a restaurant for dinner.
The room did get quite warm, especially during the day. While there was a fan provided, it didn't do much to cool down the room.
